I have to admit that Lisa Joy is not among my favorites especially since she did not convince me with the development of ‘Westworld’. But after seeing ‘Reminiscence’, his first feature film, I have to say that it has dazzled me.

In this film we are transported to a totally flooded world. The story takes place between Miami and Louisiana, both turned into charmless Venice, full of lights and decaying skyscrapers. In this apocalyptic scenario, the main character played by Hugh Jackman makes a living. He and his partner are both veterans in a great war with a business capable of literally making people immerse themselves in memories. Likewise, justice often demands them to use their technique in interrogations.
