Halloween is just around the corner and, like every year, the Muppets meet for a big party. Only Gonzo is not there this time, because he has made it into his head to master a very special challenge: He wants to spend a night in the Haunted Mansion and thereby prove his great courage. He is accompanied by his loyal friend, the shrimp Pepe. Because he heard that there are celebrities and women at the party. How can he say no to that? And so the two are not impressed by the warnings of the other, who urge them to repent. Instead, they enter full of enthusiasm when the friendly, but at the same time quite mysterious host invites them in.
After it had been quiet for a while, Disney is now apparently increasingly relying on film adaptations of its own theme parks. Jungle Cruise was so successful this year, at least considering the conditions, that a second part is already being planned. Films around Space Mountain and Tower of Terror have also been announced. Then there is the sixth part of Pirates of the Caribbean , which is at least officially still in the works. A reunion with Haunted Mansion is also planned. There has already been an attempt to sell the popular attraction as a film version: the comedy Die Geistervilla , published in 2003 with Eddie Murphy .
