Especially Dylan Fritzmaurice-Brady, who plays the young son of the family, looks so wooden, as if he were reading his lines.
The staging also reaches its limits more and more as the running time progresses. The camera work is always unspectacular, but just like the somewhat cheap-looking gray filter over the images, it is not a disturbing element. The music is different. What, as already mentioned, starts out as overly ambitious, becomes increasingly obtrusive and later almost laughable. The music wants to create tension in scenes that have lost all intensity due to the drop in plot and thus only ensures that another level is driven between itself and the audience.
