This white-collar heist action comedy combines three Hollywood stars: Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot. Johnson plays an FBI agent who hunts down and becomes entangled with the world’s two best thieves – and rivals – in the world, Reynolds and Gadot. The film will then add some more traditional adventures, with Argentine jungle, quotes Indiana Jones and everything that the manual indicates. You see the ingredients all the time, the film gives away every time you place a new item in each place.
The sympathy of the protagonists is evident, as well as it is clear that they know it and exploit it in a somewhat artificial way. Johnson is the tough one, Reynolds the funny and Gadot, who occupies a minor place in the film, the one who knows them all. Once they make this clear, everything else is twists and turns and surprises. But when the mechanism is the surprise and the twist, everything becomes boring and predictable.
